The Čtvrť Emila Kolbena project is a landmark urban development in Prague’s Vysočany district, transforming a former industrial area into a modern, sustainable residential and commercial hub. Developed by Skanska, the project highlights energy efficiency, smart home technologies, and thoughtful urban design.
The development is being delivered in multiple phases, with the first including buildings such as Alfred, Lilly, Greta, Marie, Jindřich, and Hanus, each named after members of Emil Kolben’s family. Residents benefit from a diverse selection of apartments, an open garden, and underground parking.
Manorteq products played a key role in ensuring the durability and reliability of the underground structure. The waterproofing system incorporated Manorteq WaterBar Rigid System, providing robust protection for construction joints, penetrations, and other critical details. In combination with Xypex Admix C-1000 NF, the system delivered long-lasting integral waterproofing. Nekap oversaw the installation and provided a full waterproofing guarantee for the substructure, with Manorteq solutions ensuring resilience, performance, and peace of mind for the building’s lifecycle.
