Description
Manorteq Curing Agent is a curing aid specifically developed to retain moisture in newly laid or repaired areas of concrete, mortars and coatings, which aids the curing of the substrate.
In newly placed concrete or mortars, an application of Manorteq Curing Agent not only reduces the loss of free water, it also improves the hardening of the surface, as well as reducing its absorbency.
In areas where Xypex technology has been used, whether as a coating, repair or admixture, Manorteq Curing Agent encourages an environment that benefits the growth of the Xypex crystalline structure. In applications where Xypex Technical Data Sheet specifies the need for daily mist curing with clean water, an application of Manorteq Curing Agent eliminates the need for this process.

Use
Manorteq Curing Agent is suitable for all applications of concretes, mortars and cementitious based repairs. Especially where Xypex crystalline technology is present and where water curing is not possible or desired.
Manorteq Curing Agent is particularly useful when conditions will accelerate the hydration process, particularly in hot, dry or windy conditions.
Installation
Substrate
Manorteq Curing Agent is applied to surfaces that have been newly laid. The treated surface should be damp, but have no standing water on it. All dirt, dust, residues of debonding agents and the like must be fully removed prior to application of the Manorteq Curing Agent.
Preparation
Shake well before use to ensure any sediment within the container is fully mixed in. Manorteq Curing Agent is ready to use directly from the packaging. DO NOT DILUTE. Neither the temperature of the substrate, nor the ambient air temperature should be below + 5 °C, or above + 30 °C during application.
Application
Manorteq Curing Agent is typically applied using sprayers. Brushes and rollers can also be used to apply the product. Brushes are commonly used for complex or small areas. The product is usually applied in several layers to ensure a coverage rate of 120 – 150 ml/m2. All tools and equipment are to be thoroughly cleaned with water immediately after completion of the work.
