Manorteq NonShrink Flow Regular

Manorteq NonShrink Flow Regular

NonShrink Flow Regular ensures permanent waterproof fixing of anchoring elements in level concrete.

Manorteq NonShrink Flow Regular is a single-component, high strength, non-shrink, dry mortar mix intended specifically for sealing anchors and creating watertight areas within supported horizontal concrete structures.

NonShrink Flow Regular is for voids from 20mm with no limit in depth. The product has excellent waterproofing capabilities, provided by the Xypex Technology Inside.

Description

Manorteq NonShrink Flow Regular is a grout that ensures permanent fixing of anchors in concrete. It resists most dynamic stresses and provides protection to anchors.

NonShrink Flow Regular has been developed specifically for small volume, manually applied grouting between 20mm and upwards in depth.

Holes filled with Manorteq NonShrink Flow Regular are sealed against water and a variety of liquids.

Manorteq NonShrink Flow Regular can also be used for the sealing of joints in precast, vertical and non-supported horizontal concrete structures.

Compressive Strength in accordance with EN 12190:

  Regular
7 Day >50 MPa
28 Day >65 MPa

Manorteq NonShrink Flow Regular is suitable and recommended to waterproof voids where Xypex Admix C-Series has been used in the original construction of:

  • Anchor holes in slabs
  • Concrete slabs
  • Reservoirs
  • Tanks
  • Under machinery

Product Certified:

EN 1504-6 – Products and systems for the protection and repair of concrete structures – Anchoring of reinforcing steel bar.

Use

Manorteq NonShrink Flow Regular provides excellent fixing of anchors in concrete constructions.

Manorteq NonShrink Flow Regular has good resistance to most dynamic stresses.

It provides protection to anchors. It is suitable for providing waterproofing to the joints of precast, vertical and non-supported horizontal concrete structures that contain Xypex Admix.

Voids filled with Manorteq NonShrink Flow Regular are sealed against liquids, including most oil-based products.

Waterproofing Capability

NonShrink Flow Regular waterproofing capability

* Whilst a perfect application at these thicknesses will provide a waterproof layer, there is, however, a higher probability of imperfections in the application which would compromise the integrity of the waterproofing.

** At these thicknesses, Manorteq products will be waterproof when applied in strict accordance with the installation procedures laid out in the Technical Data Sheets.

Installation

Substrate

  1. Any dust and loose particles shall be removed from the substrate before application. The concrete surface must not be contaminated by substances which can negatively affect adhesion of the mortar to the substrate (oil or other products).
  2. Before application of the prepared mortar, wetting of the concrete surface should be thorough and repeatedly undertaken for at least 120 minutes.
  3. The application thickness for Manorteq NonShrink Flow Regular ranges from a minimum of 20 mm to no maximum limit.

Preparation

  1. Manorteq NonShrink Flow Regular is prepared by mixing a 25 kg bag with 3.10 to 3.60 litres of clean water.
  2. Optimum quantity of batching water can fluctuate, as is usual with mortars containing a cementing binder.
  3. Working time of the product is 50 – 60 minutes at 20 °C.
  4. It is important to note that the anchor holes, joints etc. should be filled in one application without interruption, to ensure the treated areas are continuous.
  5. The temperature of ambient air shall not be below, nor expect to be, in the following 24 hours, +3°C or be, or expect to be, above +35 °C.

Never apply to frozen substrates.

FAQ’s

1What’s the difference between Manorteq NonShrink grouts and ‘normal’ grouts?

All Manorteq NonShrink grouts are waterproof and help with the continuity of crystalline waterproofing due to the Xypex Technology Inside, dealing with small voids such as anchors holes etc.

2Why use NonShrink Flow and where can it be used?

For use in restricted-access areas NonShrink Flow should be used on a horizontal application where the material needs to be applied as a liquid, such as under column plates or under machinery etc.

3Why use NonShrink Thix and where can it be used?

Manorteq NonShrink Thix should be used where the grout needs to hold its own weight or where access is easy.

4What is the compressive strength of the Manorteq NonShrink grouts?

NonShrink Flow and Thix have a compressive strength of 60 MPa @ 28 days when mixed in accordance with the relevant Technical Data Sheet.

5What is the workability of NonShrink grouts?

The workability for both NonShrink Thix and Flow is 50 - 60 minutes when mixed in accordance with the relevant Technical Data Sheet.
